Renato Veronesi 

Milanese by birth, “Engadiner” by choice, Renato lives and paints in the Engadine Valley, in the enchanted village of Bever. In his student times, Renato competed in the first edition of the Engadin Ski Marathon (1972) and for five years thereafter became the official photographer of the event, providing each participant with a picture in full action.
The memory of the immense herds of skiers as seen from the helicopter is often inspiring his works which synthesize an intricate pattern of shades and colorful figures. Renato's works communicate his deep love for the valley, her joyfull strenght and light: it is not a coincidence, that one of his recent solo exhibitions was named “The Playground of the Gods”.
His techniques are watercolor and acrylic for larger formats.

Marina Aliverti

Marina Aliverti was born and raised in Como. She is a fashion rainmaker, an artist and an environmentalist photographer with a passion for great travels.
She is a graduate of the Textile Design Institute in her home town and a third generation descendant of a Como-based well known historical textile entrepreneurial family.
Her creative career ranges from fashion - allowing her to realize an important track-record of collaborations with top fashion players, then developing and designing her own line of prêt à porter - to many exhibitions of her own art, blending pop portraits and exotic landscapes painted in acrylic colors and decorated with sand brought from exotic islands, drippings, resins, Indian embroideries, and photo-collages of Namibian deserts and the not anymore eternal Greenlandic glaciers.
To round her artistic creativity up, Marina designed and produced veritable artistic jewels and “Sculptures prȇt-à-porter”; then, BlackAgainShirts, patchworks made of upcycled silks from Como, perfectly in line with the current environmental issues; the capsule of “Lake Como” tote bags; pop letterings on African wax made in Namibia; the theatrical set ups for “Tess”, the magazine of “La Provincia di Como”, featuring mannequins wrapped in fabrics with hats and flowers obviously cut out from the newspaper pages, another tribute to the local creativity and to the major transition to eco-friendly practices within the textile industry.
For “Miniartextil”, the great international Fiber Art exhibition in Como, she crafted small books made of upcycled fabrics and decorated with embroidered slogan words linked to the urgency of the moment.
“Worlds Apart” was the name of the photo-collage exhibition at the Lugano 2022 WOPART fair.
She has long been committed to the environmental emergency by holding photography exhibitions and forums, and by supporting the Swiss “Arctic. Last frontier” association.
The fashion think-tank “Filorosso” promotes Como Creative City and the multi-faceted textile world with projects specifically designed to make general population sensitive to the beauty and fragility of our planet.
